Question#1 Why did the nurse ask Hira's sister to come and talk to her?

Nurse asked Hira’s younger sister to come and talk to her, thinking that the voice of a near and dear one might activate the nearly dead neurons. She was trying to make her brain process by her sister’s voice.


Question#2 Why did the nurse disagree with the doctor’s point of view?

The nurse did not agree with the doctor’s point of view because leaving the patient unattended, without giving her a chance to survive, would be unwise. She thought that her full attention could make her patient recover.


Question#3 Why did the nurse ask horse self the question: “Could I be able to justify my stance before the senior doctors?”

She asked herself this question to reconsider her judgement about the patient because the patient was declared a hopeless case by all the senior doctors and accepting this challenge was to risk her career.


Question#4 Describe some qualities of the nurse in the story.

She was young enthusiastic, devoted, honest, kind hearted and ambitious lady. She had positive thinking and strong will power.


Question#5 Why did the nurse say, “where there is a will there is a way”?

She said so because she proved it by her hard work and strong will. She helped her patient to recover by her consistent efforts. It proves that with the strong will power a man can accomplish impossible tasks.
