Q1:How will you define patriotism?

Patriotism means love for the motherland or devotion to one’s country.It gives people the courage to safeguard the interests of their country.Patriotism is not just a feeling but a live spirit that continuously inspires and guides a nation.

Q2:What are the qualities of a patriot?

The word patriot comes from the latin word “patriota”,which means countryman. A patriot is a person who loves his country and is willing to sacrifice his life to protect the supreme values like sovereignty, integrity and honour of his country.

Q3:As a citizen of Pakistan what are your responsibilities towards your country?

As the citizens of Pakistan  our first and foremost duty is loyalty towards it.We should always be ready to render sacrifice for its prosperity and honour.It is our duty to obey its laws and fulfil our responsibilities towards our country.

Q4:What makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion?

The spirit of patriotism makes us stay alert in the wake of foreign invasion or any other intrusion. Patriotism is a live spirit that motivates us to look after the defense,integrity and honour. 

Q5:How will you elaborate Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s quote?

“We must develop a sense of patriotism which galvanizes us all into one united and strong nation”

If we develop a sense of patriotism we shall not fall prey to disunity,disharmony,provincialism and disintegration. The spirit of patriotism will keep us united and strong.
